The three days on the beautiful Tsoi Islands were unforgettable. Abraham and Lazeline are wonderful hosts. With great attention to detail, they have created a wonderful place. We learned a lot about the local way of life, snorkelled in the reefs, collected shells and enjoyed wonderful local food. Lazeline is the best cook in PNG!😊 They were also very attentive to our three children, who felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun. We can highly recommend Solwara Tours.

I had a wonderful stay at Solwara Cottages. Abraham and his family were incredibly attentive and always made sure I was well looked after. Whether it was strolling along the beach or heading out on amazing fishing trips, they made every experience memorable. One highlight were the trips to the reef with Abraham, where we caught plenty of big fish! Their warm hospitality truly made the stay special. I can highly recommend this place.

We spent four days on Soilik. The boat ride alone was an experience. The hospitality and warmth of the islanders were wonderful. Without electricity or cell phones, we were able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet. Absolutely recommended for those who want to escape the stress.

We stayed with Abraham for three nights. The untouched nature this stay provides, coupled with the authentic village experience was incredible. The bungalow is very neat and right on the beach. Lazeline cooks delicious meals with locally-sourced ingredients. I can highly recommend this place. Abraham and Lazeline really make for a nice experience. You can see untouched islands, pristine waters, lots of fish. The nature, culture, people and food were amazing!!

If your chasing adventure, culture and some excellent fishing then this is for you! A very beautiful and pristine part of the world!
Abraham and his family were very welcoming and I feel put in the effort to make it a memorable experience for us.
It's kind of like glamping back home in Australia with no power or phone reception. Not for everyone but adds to the charm in my opinion.
Be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottles, medications, snorkeling and fishing gear if that's what you're into. Some compact life jackets might be an idea as well.
Overall an eye opening experience. Definitely recommend!

We spent 3 nights with Abraham & his devine family at their beachfront Solwara cottages in Feb 2025. What a special experience this was. A walk back in time to the reality of living without power & being immersed in village life. The simple delight of cooking on fire. Hunting fish to eat. Making coconut oil from scratch. Witnessing the tight knit family network & experiencing such genuine hospitality, interest & care. Abraham is very knowledgeable of the area & eloquently provides a service with attention to detail whilst also authentically showing the traditional way of life in PNG. I highly recommend supporting him & his community to increase tourism in the area. The island scenes do not disappoint.
